Feta is a type of cheese which origins are from ancient Greece. It has an exclusive taste and is made of sheep’s milk or from a mixture of sheep and goat’s milk, which gives it a white color.Feta is traditionally categorized into “firm” and “soft” varieties.
Feta has been established by European Union as Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Traditional production areas are Thrace, Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Central Greece, Peloponnesus as well as Lesvos.
